Revenue from operations for V-Mart in Q3FY25 was Rs. 1,027 Cr, reflecting a 16% year-on-year growth compared to Rs. 889 Cr in Q3FY24. The nine-month figures show an 18% increase, with Rs. 2,473 Cr against Rs. 2,117 Cr last year. Same store sales growth (SSSG) was strong at 10% for the quarter, with a year-to-date figure of 12%. The substantial quarterly growth of 55% QoQ was aided by a shift in Durga Pujo sales from Q3 to Q2 this year.
In terms of expansion, V-Mart opened 21 new stores during the quarter, bringing the total to 488, alongside a year-to-date total of 49 new stores opened despite five closures. The new stores are strategically distributed across multiple states, enhancing market penetration. With these developments, V-Mart showcases a positive outlook, signaling robust growth in both revenue and strategic footprint expansion in the retail sector.
