Nephro Care India Limited (NCIL) has inaugurated a voice-controlled, AI-powered ultrasound system, Logiq Totus, at its flagship clinic in Salt Lake, Kolkata. This advanced ultrasound machine enhances diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency by providing real-time guidance during scans. It leverages AI algorithms to assist healthcare providers in detecting abnormalities in ultrasound images, improving the quality of care.

Dr. Pratim Sengupta, Founder and MD & CEO, emphasized that the new technology aligns with NCIL’s mission to revolutionize healthcare delivery. The system's capabilities include advanced imaging techniques, making it suitable for a variety of clinical applications.

Additionally, NCIL is collaborating with the National Institute of Technology, Silchar to develop a remotely monitored AI-enabled smart haemodialysis machine, aiming to significantly reduce costs by up to 70-75%. This initiative could lower treatment expenses for patients with advanced renal failure, making healthcare more accessible. NCIL recently expanded its footprint with the launch of a 100-bedded multispecialty hospital, enhancing patient care services in East India.
