Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported robust auto sales figures for December 2024, achieving a total of 69,768 vehicles sold, reflecting a growth of 16% year-on-year. In the Utility Vehicles segment, the company sold 41,424 vehicles domestically, marking an 18% increase. The Commercial Vehicles segment saw domestic sales of 19,502 units. In the Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra sold 22,019 tractors in India during December, representing a growth of 22% year-on-year. Total tractor sales, including exports, reached 22,943 units, up from 19,138 units in December 2023, with exports accounting for 924 units. Positive cash flow from the Kharif harvest and favorable reservoir levels contributed to strong demand for tractors. With these strong performances, both sectors show a positive outlook, underscoring Mahindra's strategic positioning within the automotive and agricultural markets.
