Karur Vysya Bank has inaugurated two new branches in Tamil Nadu, expanding its total network to 866 branches nationwide. The new locations will provide a full suite of banking services, including accounts, loans, and locker facilities. During the financial year 2024-25, the bank has added 28 branches across India, with 475 branches located specifically in Tamil Nadu.

The bank's total business stands at ₹1,76,138 crore, comprising a deposit base of ₹95,839 crore and advances of ₹80,299 crore. For the first half of the current fiscal year, the net profit was ₹932 crore, contributing to the bank's record net profit of ₹1,605 crore in the last financial year. Notably, the Net NPA ratio remains low at 0.28%. The expansion demonstrates a positive outlook for growth and increased customer service capabilities.
