Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has acquired 100% of Rajasthan IV 4A Power Transmission Limited for approximately ₹18.37 Crore. This acquisition, executed under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding route, aims to establish a transmission system to evacuate power from Rajasthan's renewable energy zone. The project will involve a 765/400kV sub-station in Uttar Pradesh and associated transmission lines across Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. This strategic move is expected to enhance operational capabilities in power transmission, aligning with Power Grid's core business. The acquisition price will be adjusted based on RIV4APTL's audited accounts at closing.
