A wholly owned subsidiary, Fatehgarh II And Barmer I PS Transmission Limited, has been incorporated by PFC Consulting Limited to facilitate the augmentation of transmission systems at the Fatehgarh-11 PS and Barmer-I PS. PFC Consulting has been appointed as the Bid Process Coordinator by the Central Electricity Authority for selecting a Transmission Service Provider through a competitive bidding process. This newly established Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) will undertake crucial preparatory activities such as land acquisition and obtaining necessary forest clearances for the transmission projects. Once these activities are complete, the SPV will be transferred to the successful bidder chosen through the bidding process. This move is poised to enhance Power Finance Corporation's capabilities in the transmission sector and potentially improve operational efficiency in project execution.
