Mahindra & Mahindra Limited — JV/Acquisition, 30-12-2024: Acquisition

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has updated the investment details regarding Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited (MEAL) following a mutual agreement with British International Investment Plc. The final tranche of investment has been revised to Rs. 650 Crores instead of the previously planned Rs. 725 Crores, to be completed by March 31, 2025. The total investment from BII Group in MEAL will now be Rs. 1,850 Crores, resulting in a shareholding range of approximately 2.64% to 4.58% on a fully diluted basis. This adjustment is not expected to impact MEAL's overall business plan.
