Allcargo Logistics Limited — Important, 26-12-2024: Monthly Business Updates
In its monthly operational update for November 2024, Allcargo Logistics reported continued growth in its Less Than Container Load (LCL) operations, achieving 718,000 cubic meters, up from 714,000 cubic meters YoY but a slight decline from 746,000 cubic meters in October 2024. The demand remains stable, particularly in regions such as Latin America and North America, although volumes decreased in Europe and the Asia Pacific.
Full Container Load (FCL) operations saw a year-over-year increase of 9%, totaling 54,000 TEUs, despite a 6% drop from the previous month. Additionally, air freight volume rose significantly to 2,806,000 kilos, reflecting an 11% increase year-over-year and 13% month-on-month, driven by robust growth in Asia Pacific and the USA.
Container utilization remained consistent with previous months, and the usage of 40-foot containers saw a notable uptick of 7% YoY. Overall, the outlook appears positive, with healthy demand expected to last until the Lunar New Year, signaling solid potential for future growth.
