Waaree Energies Limited — Board Meeting, 23-12-2024: Outcome of Board Meeting

The Board of Directors has approved significant capital expenditures, amounting to ₹551 Cr for a 300 MW electrolyser manufacturing plant and ₹2073 Cr for a 3.5 GWh lithium-ion battery plant, both under wholly-owned subsidiaries. In addition, ₹130 Cr will be invested in inverter business, with ₹40 Cr contributed by Waaree Energies Ltd. Dr. Arvind Ananthanarayanan has resigned as Non-Executive Director due to personal commitments. Mr. Amit Paithankar has been appointed as Whole-Time Director for five years, strengthening leadership as the company focuses on growth in clean energy.
