Following an appeal, the Additional Commissioner of State Tax reduced the tax liability to Rs. 10.68 lakh along with a penalty of Rs. 1.22 lakh. This outcome indicates a significant reduction in financial obligation. Moreover, due to recent regulatory changes, these penalties may be waived, resulting in no financial impact on DCBL.
