Redstart Labs (India) Ltd. is set to invest approximately Rs. 3 Cr in Brainsight Technology Private Limited, increasing its stake from 4.68% to 5.27% on a fully diluted basis. Brainsight, which focuses on AI-driven brain reporting using imaging modalities like fMRI and sMRI, reported no turnover in 2023-24. This follow-on investment aligns with Redstart’s strategy of pursuing external financial investments aimed at medium to long-term value creation. The acquisition is expected to be completed within 30 days and will be made in cash through the purchase of 385 compulsorily convertible preference shares.
