Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is enhancing its partnership with Bank of Baroda to implement an end-to-end financial inclusion solution over the next five years. Building on a nearly 15-year collaboration, TCS will deploy its Financial Inclusion Gateway Solution, enabling the processing of approximately 12 lakh transactions daily. This initiative aims to assist over 6 crore customers in unbanked regions, enhancing services provided by the bank's extensive agent network.

The deal involves the provision of central infrastructure, including hardware and software, along with ongoing application support. It encompasses support for various banking functions, facilitating access to government pension and insurance schemes in rural and semi-urban areas. TCS's long-standing relationship with Bank of Baroda has established significant touchpoints for digital banking in India, signaling a promising outlook for both the firm and the bank in advancing financial inclusion across the country.
