BASF India Limited — JV/Acquisition, 19-12-2024: Demerger

BASF India Ltd. has announced a board meeting to grant in-principle approval for demerging its Agricultural Solutions business into a separate listed entity. This strategic move aims to enhance operational flexibility and create shareholder value, leveraging BASF SE’s differentiated steering approach. The Agricultural Solutions segment contributed Rs. 20,064.6 million, or 14.57% of the total revenues, for the financial year ended March 31, 2024. An Independent Committee has been formed to explore the specifics of the demerger and will make appropriate recommendations for the Board's consideration.
