Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited has announced a board meeting outcome approving significant initiatives. The company plans to acquire 79.82% of Thriveni Earthmovers and Infra Private Limited for ₹70 crore. Additionally, it will establish guarantees totaling ₹2,500 crore related to loans for TEMPL and make corresponding guarantees for its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lloyds Surya, not exceeding ₹1,000 crore. To bolster renewable energy efforts, the company will invest in two Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) for 100 MW solar power sourcing. The board also adopted the Employee Stock Option Scheme (ESOP) for 2 crore options and appointed a new independent director. These strategies aim to enhance operational efficiency and shareholder value, presenting a positive outlook for investor sentiment.
