IRB Infrastructure Developers has confirmed the implementation of the Ganga Expressway Project through its associate, Private InvIT. The Board approved this move, which includes amendments to previous agreements with GIC affiliates and other entities. MBEL, a joint venture for the project, contributed approximately Rs. 20,890.12 million (25.47%) to the company's total income and Rs. 6,131.62 million (4.46%) to its net worth in the last financial year.

The company expects to receive around Rs. 874.61 crore as consideration for selling 41% of its equity shares and debentures in MBEL to the Private InvIT. Additionally, project management fees are projected at Rs. 6,422 crore for completing the project.
