GTPL Hathway Limited — Important, 13-12-2024: Diversification/Disinvestment

GTPL Hathway has agreed to sell its entire 61% equity stake in its subsidiary GTPL Bansidhar Telelink Private Limited to Mr. Deepak Kumar Yadav for ₹1.22 lakh. Following the transfer, GTPL Bansidhar has ceased to be a subsidiary. For FY 2023-24, GTPL Bansidhar reported a total income of ₹4.52 lakh, contributing a negligible portion to GTPL’s consolidated financials. This divestiture may streamline operations and focus resources, reflecting a strategic shift that could be viewed positively by investors, as it eliminates a minor revenue contributor while enhancing management focus.
