Welspun Corp is investing approximately US$100 million to enhance its High Frequency Induction Welding (HFIW) pipe manufacturing capabilities at its facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. This expansion, marked by a recent groundbreaking ceremony, will add around 175 jobs and increase the production capacity to 350,000 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (KMTPA) for HFIW pipes. The upgraded facility will accommodate pipe sizes up to 24 inches in outer diameter and a wall thickness of 0.75 inches. Welspun, one of the world's top three manufacturers of large diameter line pipes, has already invested over $300 million in this site since its establishment in 2007. The expected completion date for the expansion is March 2026, reinforcing Welspun's commitment to the region and its customer-centric operational ethos. Given the scale of this investment and expected job creation, this development reflects a positive outlook for the company's growth trajectory and market presence.
