BEML Limited — New Orders, 11-12-2024: Bagging/Receiving of orders/contracts

BEML Limited has secured a contract valued at ₹136 crore from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of High Mobility Vehicles (HMV) 8x8. These vehicles are critical for the Battle Field Surveillance System (BFSS) Project, enhancing India’s defence capabilities and supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Manufactured in BEML’s advanced facilities, the HMV 8x8 features an independent suspension system, high-power air-cooled engine, central tyre inflation system, anti-lock braking system, and a robust chassis design, enabling operation in extreme climates and altitudes.
