The bank has updated its Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rate (MCLR) effective December 12, 2024. The new MCLR rates for various tenors are as follows: Overnight MCLR has increased from 8.30% to 8.35%, One Month MCLR from 8.40% to 8.45%, and Three Month MCLR from 8.50% to 8.55%. Additionally, the Six Month MCLR rises from 8.85% to 8.90%, while the One Year MCLR changes from 9.05% to 9.10%. The Two Year MCLR will move from 9.30% to 9.35%, and the Three Year MCLR will increase from 9.40% to 9.45%. These adjustments could influence borrowing costs for consumers and businesses, thus affecting the bank's lending operations. Investors should monitor the impact on loan demand and profitability.
