Bajaj Healthcare Limited has entered into a definitive CDMO contract with UK/EU-based companies for 15 new APIs. This builds on a previous contract for 15 molecules established in February 2024. The new pipeline includes a mix of off-patent generic APIs and APIs still under patent.

Managing Director Anil Jain highlighted that this development enhances the company's capabilities in cost-effective synthesis routes and manufacturing expansion, primarily at their USFDA, EU, and TGA-approved site in Gujarat. Furthermore, the company anticipates additional CDMO deals with clients in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, pending TGA approval of their site. This strategic move indicates a positive outlook for Bajaj Healthcare as it positions itself for growth in international markets.
