JSW Neo Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award from NTPC Limited for establishing a 400 MW ISTS-connected Solar Power Project under a competitive bidding process for 1,500 MW. This development boosts JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity to 19.6 GW, of which 4.4 GW comes from solar projects. The company aspires to reach an operational capacity of 10 GW by FY 2025, currently standing at 7.7 GW, which includes thermal, hydro, and renewable energy. Additionally, JSW Energy aims for a total generation capacity of 20 GW and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by 2030, with plans for carbon neutrality by 2050.
