Hon’ble MP Ms. Bansuri Swaraj has flagged off two Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) under GAIL's CSR initiative, aimed at improving healthcare access for underprivileged communities. GAIL also provided an advanced life support ambulance to AIIMS, New Delhi. These MMUs, part of Project Arogya, offer free primary healthcare services, targeting approximately 80 patients daily. They include distribution of low-cost sanitary napkins and basic diagnostic tests, following an ADCR approach—Awareness, Diagnosis, Cure, and Referral. This initiative particularly benefits the elderly and physically challenged individuals, alleviating their medical expenses. Currently, GAIL operates 50 MMUs across 25 districts in 12 states under this project, underscoring its commitment to community health.
