Bajaj Auto LimitedImportant, 05-12-2024: Updates

05-12-2024 | 08:31 am

Bajaj Auto addressed recent misunderstandings stemming from a brokerage report on sales volumes and pricing for the ‘Freedom’ and select ‘Pulsar’ variants. The report inaccurately claimed dispatch numbers for the Freedom 125 at 80,000 units, while the actual figure stood at 67,000 units billed to dealers as of November 30, 2024, with 40,000 units retailed and 33,000 registered on the Vahan portal. The company confirmed that its closing stock aligns with standard distribution needs. The Freedom portfolio remains largely stable, with the flagship variant priced at ₹1,10,000 unchanged since launch, and only the entry-level variant seeing a price adjustment from ₹95,000 to ₹90,000. The Pulsar range, which consists of over a dozen models, has undergone regular price adjustments to enhance competitiveness, but these changes had a nominal net impact on quarterly results. This clarification aims to eliminate confusion and reinforce investor confidence.
