KPI Green Energy Limited has secured a landmark order from Coal India Limited for the establishment of a 300 MW AC (405 MW DC) ground-mounted solar PV plant, along with Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for a five-year period. The project, valued at Rs. 1,311 crore, represents the company’s largest single order to date from a central public sector unit and marks a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.
This initiative enhances KPI Green Energy's renewable energy portfolio, which now includes over 507 MW of successfully completed projects, reinforcing its leadership position in India's clean energy sector. The solar project will be implemented on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis at GIPCL’s Solar Park in Khavda, Gujarat, and aligns with the company's vision of providing innovative and sustainable energy solutions. With a strong focus on quality and operational excellence, KPI Green Energy aims to meet the aggressive timelines stipulated in the contract while contributing to its goal of achieving 10 GW capacity by 2030.
