Nazara Technologies Limited has engaged in a significant expansion initiative with a focus on diversifying its gaming and entertainment portfolio through five strategic investments totaling INR 196 crore. This includes acquiring a 60% stake in Funky Monkeys Play Centers for INR 43.7 crore, which operates 11 indoor play centers across India, enhancing Nazara’s presence in physical entertainment. Furthermore, Nazara is investing INR 4.2 crore for a 4.7% stake in Learntube.ai, an innovative platform that provides 1:1 interactive and gamified learning experiences to over 20 lakh learners.

Additionally, Nazara is increasing its shareholdings in its existing subsidiaries, committing INR 148 crore in total. This includes INR 64 crore in Nodwin Gaming to support its market expansion and IP enhancement, and INR 69 crore in Absolute Sports (Sportskeeda) to raise its ownership to 100%. The company also plans to invest INR 15 crore in Datawrkz to reinforce its growth. This strategy positions Nazara for potential growth and resilience in the rapidly evolving gaming industry.
