Sterling Tools Limited has entered a technical collaboration with Zhejiang Meishuo Electric Technology Co., Ltd., China, through its subsidiary Sterling Tech-Mobility Limited. This partnership aims to manufacture latching relays locally in India for applications in power transmission and industrial grids. The initial investment is approximately Rs. 20 crore, with the company anticipating revenue of Rs. 200 crore by FY30 from this venture.

These latching relays, which conserve energy and extend component lifespan, will be produced at a new facility in Bengaluru. This initiative aligns with the Make in India movement, targeting import substitution and supporting local manufacturing. The partnership is expected to foster innovation in India's energy sector, reducing reliance on imports while catering to the growing demand for advanced technology. The strategic move reflects Sterling Tools’ commitment to enhancing efficiency and sustainability in line with India's evolving industrial landscape.
