Production and off-take performance metrics for Coal India Limited (CIL) indicate a mixed performance for November 2024 and the period spanning April to November 2024.
For coal production in November, CIL reported a total of 67.2 million tonnes, representing a marginal increase of 2.4% compared to the same month last year. Over the April-November period, production achieved 660.1 million tonnes, up from 647 million tonnes year-over-year.
In terms of off-take, November off-take stood at 63 million tonnes, reflecting a growth of 1.5% compared to November 2023. Cumulative off-take from April to November this year reached 626 million tonnes, which is a slight increase from 617 million tonnes in the previous year.
