Power Finance Corporation Limited — Important, 28-11-2024: General Updates

A wholly owned subsidiary of PFC Consulting Limited, Kandla GHA Transmission Limited, has been incorporated to develop a transmission system aimed at supplying power for green hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing in Gujarat. The Ministry of Power appointed PFC Consulting as the Bid Process Coordinator to select a Transmission Service Provider through a competitive bidding process. The SPV will manage project preparatory activities such as land acquisition and environmental clearances while it is slated to be transferred to the successful bidder following the bidding process. This initiative reflects PFC's strategic move into renewable energy transmission, highlighting potential growth opportunities in this sector.
