PCBL Chemical Limited — Important, 27-11-2024: Updates

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved the allotment of 116.62 acres of land to Philips Carbon Black Limited (PCBL) for establishing a manufacturing plant for New Rubber Black and value-added chemicals at MPSEZ, Naidupeta. This investment amounts to ₹3,718 Crore and is expected to create 200 direct jobs. The land will be allotted at a rate of ₹1,948 per square meter, contingent upon the de-notification of the Naidupeta Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

The approval follows the recommendations from the State Investment Promotion Board and highlights a significant step in enhancing PCBL's operational capabilities.
