SBI has successfully raised ₹50,000 crore through domestic bonds during FY25, demonstrating robust demand from investors. This includes ₹5,000 crore in AT1 Bonds, ₹15,000 crore in Tier 2 Bonds, and ₹30,000 crore in Long Term Bonds, all issued at competitive rates and oversubscribed by more than 2 times. The strong investor response, which included provident funds, pension funds, insurance companies, mutual funds, and banks, underscores the trust placed in SBI as the country’s largest lender. The AT1 Bonds carry a AA+ rating, while the Tier 2 and Long Term Bonds hold a AAA rating, both with a stable outlook. The bonds have a tenor of 15 years, with the AT1 Bonds being perpetual. This achievement not only reflects SBI's financial strength but also enhances its capital base, contributing positively to its future growth prospects.
