Interarch Building Products Limited is expanding its manufacturing capabilities with the commencement of Phase 2 at its Andhra Pradesh unit, replicating the capacity of Phase 1 operational since September 2024. The new facility is anticipated to start operations by April 2025, significantly enhancing production capacity in the region. Concurrently, the Kichha plant in Uttarakhand is undergoing a substantial upgrade, expected to add 20,000 metric tons of capacity, aimed at better handling multi-story buildings and heavy steel structures. These expansions will elevate Interarch’s total installed capacity to over 200,000 metric tons annually.
Additionally, Interarch is reinforcing its commitment to innovation with the establishment of a dedicated R&D and Innovation Centre in Chennai, led by a seasoned expert in structural engineering. The centre aims to expedite project timelines by up to 30% through enhanced engineering solutions. This strategic move highlights the company's initiative to address the evolving needs of sectors such as Heavy Industries, High-rise Structures, and Data Centres, underpinning a positive outlook for its role in India’s growing infrastructure sector.
