Shri Sunil Kumar Verma has been appointed as a Government Nominee Director for Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). With over 25 years of experience in administrative, management, and technical domains, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from MMMEC Gorakhpur and a Master's from IIT Roorkee. Currently serving as Joint Secretary at the Department of Telecommunications, he has also undergone training at international institutes. Notably, he does not hold shares in MTNL and will not receive any sitting fees. His expertise is expected to contribute positively to MTNL's strategic direction.
