Mahindra World City Developers Limited (MWCDL), a subsidiary of Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited, has executed a Supplemental Joint Venture Agreement with Sumitomo Corporation and Mahindra Industrial Park Chennai Limited (MIPCL). This agreement aims to expand an existing industrial park in Tamil Nadu, allowing for a capital infusion of around ₹225 crore, proportional to the existing shareholding of the joint venture partners. MWCDL holds 60% equity in MIPCL, while Sumitomo Corporation owns the remaining 40%. The agreement includes provisions for director appointments, ensuring MWCDL can nominate a majority on MIPCL's board.
