Paras Defence & Space Technologies has opened a state-of-the-art optical systems testing facility in Navi Mumbai, inaugurated by ISRO Chairman S Somnath. This facility is a significant milestone in Paras Defence's vision to establish India’s first advanced Optical Systems Development Park, with an investment of INR 500 Cr planned over the coming years. The facility aims to enhance research and development capabilities for hyperspectral and other optical systems, addressing application areas like earth observation, homeland security, and navigation.
