UPL Limited has entered into an agreement with Alpha Wave Global, where Alpha Wave will invest US$ 350 million for approximately a 12.5% stake in Advanta Enterprises Limited, a subsidiary of UPL and a leading global seed company. This transaction consists of a primary investment of US$ 100 million and a secondary sale of US$ 250 million from UPL. The primary funds are intended to drive Advanta’s growth through various initiatives, while the secondary proceeds will help UPL reduce its debt, aligning with its financial goals.

Advanta has demonstrated strong double-digit revenue growth and holds leadership positions across key markets, particularly in tropical yellow corn and sunflower. This marks another significant investment in Advanta, backing its commitment to sustainable agriculture and innovative crop solutions.
