Reliance Infrastructure Limited — Updates, 18-11-2024: Press Release
Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure have restructured their boards, appointing four senior executives to strengthen leadership. Ashok Pal, previously CFO of Reliance Power, becomes Executive Director, while Sachin Mohapatra and Harmanjit Singh Nagi join as Additional Directors. Partha Sarma has been appointed as an Additional Director for Reliance Infrastructure. This restructuring aims to foster a dynamic team that aligns with the group’s Vision 2030 Growth Strategy, emphasizing internal talent recognition and innovation to enhance operational readiness for new technologies.
The newly formed Reliance Group Corporate Centre (RGCC) will support the directors in their leadership roles. With a combined record of extensive experience in finance, power generation, and corporate development, the new board members are expected to drive significant investments in renewable energy and technology, positioning the companies for sustainable growth. This change could present opportunities for investors, given the companies' strategic focus and strong financial background, with the group maintaining a near debt-free status and robust annual turnover of ₹31,000 crore.
