Godrej Agrovet Limited — Important, 11-03-2025: Agreements

The Board of Directors has approved the acquisition of a 48.06% equity stake in Creamline Dairy Products Limited (CDPL), making it a wholly owned subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet Limited. This acquisition involves a cash consideration of ₹930 crore and aims to consolidate the company’s position within the dairy sector, where CDPL is recognized for its processing and selling of milk and milk products. Following the transaction, Godrej Agrovet will hold full control over CDPL, which reported a turnover of ₹1,540.50 crore for the financial year ending March 31, 2024.

Additionally, Mr. Y. V. Sathish will be appointed as Head – Manufacturing & Supply Chain Excellence, effective March 24, 2025. He brings nearly three decades of experience from notable FMCG companies and will replace Mr. Prafulla Bhat, who is retiring early. This leadership change is part of an ongoing strategy to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. Investors should monitor the integration of CDPL and the potential for growth in the dairy segment.
