The authorized Board Committee of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank has approved the sale of non-performing assets (NPAs) and written-off loans to an Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC). The proposed pool size for MicroBanking amounts to ₹270.35 crore, which includes ₹207.98 crore categorized as NPA (over 180 days past due) and ₹62.36 crore in written-off loans. The bank has maintained an overall provision of 85.61% against this pool. The completion of this transaction will be communicated separately. This strategic move is aimed at cleaning up the balance sheet and improving the bank's asset quality.
