Consolidated revenue for Balaji Telefilms reached ₹ 144.4 crore in Q2 FY25, marking a solid performance although slightly down from ₹ 149.2 crore in Q1 FY25. The company achieved significant sequential growth with EBITDA profit soaring to ₹ 11.8 crore, an impressive 168% increase from ₹ 4.4 crore in the previous quarter. Profit after tax rebounded to ₹ 4.6 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to a loss of ₹ 2.2 crore in Q1 FY25, showcasing the effectiveness of ongoing operational improvements.

The TV segment remains robust, contributing ₹ 74.3 crore in revenue for Q2 FY25, with EBITDA up to ₹ 15.5 crore, reflecting a threefold increase from Q4 FY24. The digital segment, ALT, narrows EBITDA losses to ₹ 13.7 crore in H1 FY25, fueled by 4.45 lakh subscriptions and a strong content offering with 150+ shows. The film lineup shows promise with "The Sabarmati Report" releasing on November 15, 2024, alongside several projects in development.
