Anupam Rasayan India Ltd. reported financial results indicating a decline in revenues for H1FY25 compared to the same period last year, with total revenue at ₹5,562 million, down from ₹7,944 million in H1FY24. The EBITDA margin for H1FY25 settled at 25%, leading to a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹428 million, significantly lower than ₹1,009 million in H1FY24. For Q2FY25, total revenue was ₹2,959 million, down from ₹3,956 million in Q2FY24, while EBITDA was recorded at ₹824 million with a margin of 28%. The PAT for Q2 was ₹306 million, compared to ₹487 million in Q2FY24.
The Managing Director, Anand Desai, highlighted a potential recovery in the Agro segment after a prolonged slump, alongside robust growth in Pharma and Polymer sectors driven by the launch of over 20 new molecules in FY24 and H1FY25. With an optimistic outlook for revenue normalization and ongoing capacity development, growth is expected to strengthen in the medium term, contingent on increasing volumes and contract fulfillment.
