Ramky Infrastructure Limited — Updates, 14-11-2024: Press Release
Ramky Infrastructure reported a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) increase of 17% and an EBITDA rise of 8% over the previous quarter, despite challenges posed by heavy monsoon rains that impacted the construction sector. The consolidated revenue from operations for Q2 FY25 was INR 5,274 million, down 7.3% from Q1 FY25 and 9.4% year-on-year. Standalone revenue for the same quarter stood at INR 5,030 million. Meanwhile, standalone EBITDA grew by 7.2% sequentially to INR 1,513.82 million, and profit before tax increased by 7.9% to INR 1,295 million.
The company’s strong order book and execution efficiency are expected to restore its usual progressive trend, although the current revenue dip reflects industry-wide challenges. The Managing Director indicated a positive outlook based on present commitments and project schedules, emphasizing that better project execution mitigated the impact of the adverse weather conditions. Investors should watch closely for signs of recovery as operational conditions improve.
