IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd reported its financial results for Q2 and H1 FY25, revealing a decline in key metrics. For Q2 FY25, total income was ₹532.18 Cr, a 4.4% increase from Q1 FY25 but a 3.66% drop YoY from ₹552.41 Cr. EBITDA fell by 17.51% QoQ to ₹47.99 Cr, leading to a margin decline of 240 bps to 9.02%. Profit After Tax (PAT) dropped 35.48% QoQ to ₹19.15 Cr and 49.33% YoY.

In H1 FY25, total income was ₹1,041.94 Cr, down 7.19% YoY. EBITDA stood at ₹106.17 Cr, reflecting a significant decrease of 29.75%, with an EBITDA margin falling to 10.19%. PAT for the half-year was ₹48.83 Cr, down 41.87% from ₹84 Cr in H1 FY24.

The company’s credit rating was reaffirmed at CARE A+ with a stable outlook, indicating ongoing financial stability. Despite recent challenges, IOLCP's management remains optimistic about future growth, intending to enhance operational efficiencies and marketing strategies to bolster profitability. Investors should watch closely for potential recovery in margins as initiatives take effect.
