Consolidated Financials reported total revenue of ₹1,861.57 crore for the half-year, reflecting a decrease of approximately 43% year-over-year. Key drivers of this decline appear to be a significant reduction in fee revenue and limited new fund activity.

Net profit after tax for the half-year stood at a loss of ₹213.75 crore, compared to a profit of ₹482.56 crore in the previous year. This downturn is attributed to increased operational costs and reduced revenue from ongoing funds. The Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the period was ₹(0.08), indicating substantial pressure on profitability.

Operational costs escalated, particularly in employee benefits which accounted for ₹603.26 crore, alongside legal and professional fees of ₹698.45 crore. These costs highlight ongoing challenges in cost management and operational efficiency, stressing the need for strategic realignment.

The balance sheet reflects a decrease in total assets to ₹22,383.29 crore, down from ₹24,938.21 crore, while total liabilities also reduced, leading to a slight improvement in leverage ratios. The management's emphasis on a "going concern" status suggests confidence in meeting obligations via liquid assets and expected earnings over the coming months, despite evident uncertainty regarding future revenue.

While the outlook remains challenging due to sector headwinds and internal restructuring, there's a potential for recovery as market conditions stabilize. Based on current performance and strategic initiatives, a cautious hold is advised, allowing for a clearer view on operational turnaround and market recovery.
