Satia Industries Limited reported consolidated revenues of INR 3,401 Mn for the second quarter of FY25, reflecting a 9% decrease year-on-year due to increased imports affecting pricing. EBITDA fell significantly to INR 451 Mn, down 48%, with a corresponding EBITDA margin decline to 13.2%. Net profit also dropped by 74% to INR 123 Mn compared to the prior year. The company attributed these results to rising raw material costs and lower sales prices, impacting gross margins, which decreased to 52.1%.

Despite these challenges, the company maintained a steady production volume of 1,05,840 MT in the first half of FY25, exhibiting resilience in a competitive market that saw overall paper demand increase. Management remains optimistic about future growth driven by strategic initiatives, including upgrading production facilities to enhance operational efficiency. Investors should watch closely for how Satia navigates these ongoing market dynamics while aiming to stabilize its financial performance.
