Schaeffler India, in a collaboration with Buddy4Study Foundation, has recognized the winners of its 2024 Social Innovator Fellowship Program. This initiative aims to reward social entrepreneurs creating sustainable solutions that benefit society. Notable winners include Rakshit Jain from Jaipur, who developed an AI-based early autism detection technology; Raghav Gupta from Ludhiana, who created a performance rating platform for MSMEs to help mitigate financing risks; and Hrishi Mehta from Sangli, innovating in electric propulsion systems for freshwater boats, cutting operational costs significantly while reducing carbon emissions.
Each winner received a fellowship grant of ₹1.5 lakh and a hybrid mentorship at IIMA Ventures. The program garnered substantial interest with over 276 registrations across more than 25 states, showcasing the potential of young innovators. Harsha Kadam, MD and CEO of Schaeffler India, reiterated the company's commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability, emphasizing the integral link between these elements and a greener future. Schaeffler's ongoing CSR activities through its HOPE initiative further support community empowerment and environmental sustainability.
