Revenue from operations for Western Carriers (India) Ltd (WCIL) remained flat at ₹ 4314.33 mn in Q2 FY25 compared to ₹ 4258.51 mn in the same period last year, primarily due to slow growth in the export market. However, EBITDA increased by 7.68% to ₹ 361.41 mn, aided by operational optimization, resulting in improved EBITDA margins of 8.38%, up from 7.88%. Profit After Tax (PAT) rose by 3.61% to ₹ 189.56 mn, keeping the PAT margin stable at 4.39%.
For the first half of FY25, revenue grew by 3.23% to ₹ 8,541.42 mn, while EBITDA climbed 10.36% to ₹ 716 mn, with margins improving to 8.38%. PAT showed a growth of 5.86% to ₹ 378.56 mn, reflecting a PAT margin of 4.43%. The company’s performance has benefitted from cost-saving measures and expansion of its customer base, reinforcing a positive outlook for growth despite industry challenges.
