Cineline India Limited has released its financial performance metrics for the quarter and half-year ending September 2024. In the film exhibition sector, total revenue decreased to ₹5,614 lakh for Q2 FY25 from ₹6,482 lakh in Q2 FY24, and to ₹9,306 lakh for H1 FY25, a decline from ₹10,350 lakh in H1 FY24. EBITDA for Q2 FY25 was ₹1,368 lakh, down from ₹2,055 lakh YoY. Despite this, the company reported strong box office collections driven by successful releases like "Stree 2," which generated ₹17.8 crore.

In the hotel segment, Q2 FY25 revenue increased to ₹1,223 lakh compared to ₹1,180 lakh in Q2 FY24, with an occupancy rate improving to 85%. Looking ahead, Cineline is set to launch a luxury cinema experience and innovative food service options. Several anticipated film releases and a strategic sale of its hotel business, aimed at debt reduction and aligning resources for cinema expansion, promise a positive outlook for growth in the near term.
