Kaveri Seed Company Limited has released its financial results for the half year ending September 30, 2024. Revenue reached ₹889.84 crore, reflecting a growth of 3.06% compared to ₹863.41 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA for the half year was stable at ₹299.68 crore, while net profit slightly increased to ₹279.41 crore from ₹278.55 crore in H1FY24.
In Q2FY25, the company reported a revenue of ₹81.76 crore, down by 14.94% year-over-year. The EBITDA and net profit dipped to ₹6.89 crore and ₹3.49 crore, respectively. Despite this, the non-cotton segment witnessed robust performance with a 24% growth, driven by selection and hybrid rice and maize. However, export sales saw a decline due to political unrest in Bangladesh, impacting overall revenue and margins. The company maintains a positive outlook, focusing on growth opportunities in its core segments.
