The bank reported a total income of ₹2,23,075 Cr, compared to ₹2,01,406 Cr in the previous half year. However, the net loss for the period stood at ₹19,007 Cr, indicating a decline from a profit of ₹27,008 Cr recorded in the corresponding half-year last year. Additionally, during the meeting, the board discussed and approved an exceptional cost of ₹5,800 Cr related to a strategic decision involving a business correspondent.
