National Aluminium Company Limited has announced a board meeting on November 13, 2024, where they revealed consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2024.

The consolidated revenue from operations is ₹4,001.48 crore, marking a significant increase from ₹3,043.83 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, equating to a growth rate of 31.4%. Net profit for the period stands at ₹1,045.97 crore, a substantial rise from ₹187.35 crore year-on-year, leading to an earnings per share (EPS) of ₹5.70 compared to ₹1.02 previously. The profit growth is primarily influenced by enhanced revenue generation and effective cost management, particularly in raw material consumption, which increased minimally to ₹491.29 crore.

Operational costs totalled ₹2,636.72 crore, up from ₹2,837.05 crore in the same quarter last year, reflecting efficient cost management despite cost pressures in raw materials and power consumption. This strategic control over operational expenses has supported the company’s margin expansion.

As of September 30, 2024, total assets increased to ₹20,737.63 crore, compared to ₹19,418.60 crore at the end of the previous fiscal year. Cash and cash equivalents rose to ₹92.41 crore. The increased liquidity positions the company well for future investments and operational flexibility.
